The Average 90

Average 90
The Average 90
Whether you heard of this group or not, the most important thing about this group is that you do not want to be a part of it. People in this group are not necessarily bad people, but if anyone from this group has your undivided attention, they may be a deterrent to your progress. The Average 90 is a group of people who may be stuck in a box without any desire or passion to break out of it. They avoid risk, abandon conflict and run from attention. This class of people believes that the Uncommon 10 are a small elite class of people with special heavenly endowments, which gives them the excuse for living in mediocrity.

There is a reason, which may not be apparent to all, of why 10% of the population continues to get 90% of the prosperity pie. It may be that the average 90% are content with making the uncommon 10% richer. As long as “The Average 90” have a job, it matters not if they are restricted in their income. Where many may have quit along the path to success and financial freedom, the few who continued to the end, are simply ordinary people who made up their minds to go all the way and not be average. The difference between the average 90 and the uncommon 10 is that the average 90 wait for opportunities to be exposed, while the uncommon 10 create opportunities.

If you desire to escape the mundane of the average 90, you have to be willing to learn how to unlock your personal potential for self-confidence, self-esteem, and personal power. This will catapult you to become a leader in business, earn more money, and get more out of life than ever before. When you learn to maximize your performance, it will be because you have displayed the mindset and developed the critical characteristic for achievement. When you comprehend time management for results, you will double your productivity. When you are motivated to become a high performer, you have positioned yourself to mentor others to become high performers. My aim is to help you to think strategically, make better decisions, and get faster, more predictable results.

It takes perseverance to break loose from the mediocre to do something other than what most people do, which is get a job. Of course, owning a business is not a piece of cake. Among the downside to being your
own boss can be:

  1. the lack of time off
  2. no paid vacations or holidays
  3. no health-care coverage unless you purchase your own policy
  4. no pension unless you purchase your own
  5. the possibility of losing the money that you and others have invested should your business fail.

On the other hand, making money is one of the easiest things to do and making more money is even easier. Ninety percent of the population leaves more money on the table then anyone can access, if they have half the passion to get out of the Average 90 crew.

They said that Walt Disney, a man who drew a mouse and named the mouse Mickey, had no imagination. If Walt Disney can build an entire financial empire with a mouse and with no imagination, imagine what you can do with a DREAM. Read to become inspired. Aspiration comes from inspiration.

7 Business Ideas You Can Start

Businessman with Ideas
Business Ideas For You
As I promised in my last blog post concerning what businesses anyone can start with very little knowledge or cash; permit me to start with an excerpt from my book, “Building Wealth from the Ground Up.”

“What is your dream business? What are you passionate about doing but do not have a clue as how to begin? Have you ever sat down on your living room couch and daydreamed of owning your own business? Statistically, 8 out of 10 people have voiced their thoughts of one day owning a business. Some have thought of parlaying their idea into a franchise operation, while others have thought of starting or buying an existing business. Whatever the case may be, having a business can move you a lot quicker up the financial ladder than working for a company that will only give you a nominal wage.”

The businesses listed below are the businesses you can easily start and make money with now. Money is a premium in our society and life can become very stressful without having enough of it. Well, without further delay, let us get right into these few business ventures that I believe can be made actionable in no time at all.

  1. Create and Sell through Your Own Catalog: People order from catalogs and online catalogs all the time. Why not get them to order from you. You can sell garden tools, clothing, automotive products, computers, etc.
  2. Become a Loan Broker: You will become a financial consultant assisting businesses and people in obtaining loans.
  3. Printing Press Affiliate: You can receive a percentage of the cost of the project. It is more cost effective for these printing press people to have affiliates than to have a call center paying people and their benefits.
  4. Garage Sale Organizer: You can make some money with your own garage sale, but you can make much more money by becoming a professional. You can organize and run three or more garage sales a week and make hundreds.
  5. Gift Baskets & Stuff: This is one of the hottest productive home businesses around. Create baskets for all occasions—birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, births, Valentine’s Day, graduations, etc.
  6. Teach a Subject via Mail, Email, or Internet: People pay monthly fees to an internet company that sends advice on losing weight, nutrition, vitamin supplements, etc. Imagine having 1000 clients paying $9.95 every two months.
  7. Mortgage Consultant: You can help people get money for mortgages they hold. You percentage can be 4% as a cash-out consultant.

These are just a few business concept ideas that you can do anytime and anywhere. The market is not as saturated as you may think, but it is ready for someone to introduce to the marketplace a whole new concept of making money. Find your niche and make your pitch. You can start one or several of these businesses and become self-sufficient. Just believe and you will achieve. Do not be afraid to make mistakes because no one ever succeeds without first experiencing failure. Get up and go at it again and again…until you achieve your goals.

Job, Career, or Entrepreneurship

Have you ever said, “I need more money”? Before you spend another dime read what I have to say about creating more money.

Before You Spend A Dime On More Gas to Deliver Pizza for Extra Income, Read what I Have to Say!

“I need more money, and the only way I know how to get it without stealing, is to get an extra job!” said Fred.

Worrying about Money
Money Worries

I know how frustrating it can be when you have more month at the end of your money than money at the end of your month. Oftentimes, people are confused and unbelieving when it comes to creating ways to increase their income without having to get a second job or receiving a hefty pay raise. I am not saying that an extra job is not a viable option; I am simply pointing to the fact that there are other alternatives to increase your income without the added stress load. Besides this, employers are not passing out huge pay raises to people except to their top executives. Let’s face it; working yourself to death is not the answer for increasing your income. And, even if you were successful at increasing your income by working extremely hard and or having two jobs, you probably will not be around long enough to enjoy it. There are two ways to increase your income.
  1. You chase money until you have caught up with it, which makes you work harder.
  2. You learn how to attract money and make it work for you, and work smarter.

You make the choice. Get a job or create one.

There is a powerful scripture in the Bible that can unequivocally be a booster for one’s self-confidence, if they can believe it. This verse has empowered me to create the kind of opportunities to multiply my earnings by producing streams of income. This Bible verse does not pacify the self-helpless person because it places the ball in the individual’s court to produce actionable results to improve one’s income. For me, this is a self-help verse.

Deut. 8:18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth… (NIV)

Hundreds of millions of people have subliminally placed making money as some special gift that only a few exclusive heavenly endowed people have. Therefore, the person who accepts this philosophy as being true has already viewed their nominal salary as the motive to insert them in the average and ungifted category. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Rather people believe in their intrinsic ability to make as much money as they want to or not; based on this Bible verse, every human being has the impregnable gifting and right to create or produce wealth.

Playing dumb is not going to better your situation, nor is sticking your head in the sand to avoid the obvious going to make your financial woes disappear. People who think that they have money problems are sadly mistaken; their actual problem is not money, it is the lack of information and belief in their God-given ability to create wealth. In order to stop this infectious supposition from permeating the next generation, I believe parents have a responsibility to instruct their children and embed the belief in their psyche of their inherent ability to make and manage money, so that when they become young adults they are already ahead of the money making curve.

I both challenge and desire to change the way millions of people around the world think about producing and increasing wealth. There are viewpoints that often contradict conventional wisdom, mine is one of them. The first step to income multiplication is to believe that income multiplication is possible. Go ahead and take the first step. Then the inevitable will come into view.

Habits of the Self-Motivated

Self Motivated
Oprah Winfrey, Magic Johnson, J.K. Rollins, John Paul DeJoria, Michael Dell

What are you more interested in hearing, well said or well done? Many people do little or nothing to live their dreams, but they are great at trying to instruct others on how to live their dream. The odd thing about this is that these people are first-class at starting something but are quickly discouraged with the slightest opposition or challenge. They have an acute awareness of what to do, but they do not have a reliable competent stamina to plow through the discouragement and disappointments that show up when little or no progress is apparently made. Therefore, knowing what to do is not good enough. It is not what you know; it is what you do with what you know.

There are habits that separate those who are satisfied with an occasional win and those who ‘will’ themselves to win every time. Every effort demands and should be accompanied with a strong unrelenting aggression that gives one the edge when they are apparently outmatched by his or her opponent. Being less talented is not a guaranteed lost. Being stronger, more agile, athletic and even smarter than your opponent is not the prerequisite for success. These important ingredients will serve you well if you are aware of how to use them intelligently to your advantage. Unfortunately, knowledge with the absence of heart and spirit is just a know-it-all who has not developed the resilience to win in life.

What are these polished habits that separate those that simply have a desire to win and those who will themselves to win? Clearly, there must be a difference? Oftentimes, the various patterns of these two characters look similar until you get down to the stretch when the challenge is more intense and the intricacy increases as you approach the finish line. Luck has no place where skill and heart has collaborated to repudiate losing at any level, or with any game. The reason people like Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Babe Ruth, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Vince Lombardi, Terry Bradshaw and presently, Kobe Bryant were and are considered among the best in their field, is that they all hated or hate to lose. What separates these great men from the other very good athletes that played before, during and after their time, is that they won multiple championships.

There are other men and women that fit the description of resilience and resolve that are in other fields. People such as such as Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, John Paul DeJoria, Larry Ellison, J.K. Rowling, and Michael Dell and there are many others, have beat unbelievable odds to reach the top.

It has been my observation that most people get ahead during the time that others waste time.
~Henry Ford

Allow me to list a few dynamic habits that will inevitably launch you into the orbit of your success where money is not the issue, but rather the chosen tool used to live your dream. This list starts with endurance, fortitude, tenacity, perseverance, enthusiasm, faith, boldness, mental toughness, courage, determination, consistency, persistence, self-control, creativity, a resistance to pressure, etc. I can go on but it may be a bit too much for you to handle because you may look at these important qualities as requiring far too much time to develop. I cannot, however, leave out the habit of discipline. Discipline is the one quality that can help you as you pursue achievement. Remember greatness is in you, and you will become the great person people will remember.

I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my Definite Purpose in life, therefore, I demand of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action.
