Do You Love Or Like What You Do?

Love your Job textThe title of this post is in the form of a question. I believe that success is the difference between what you love to do and what you like to do. I have never seen or known of anyone who exponentially succeeds at their business, job, or life who didn’t love what they do. I also, have never known of any successful person who didn’t respect his or her time.

There is something extraordinarily interesting to watch a person do what they love doing. On the other hand, there is nothing more disinteresting as to watch a person do what they absolutely feel they have to do without applying any real energy in the process. Success is the difference between loving what you do or simply liking what one does. If life is a bore, then you can believe work makes life that much more boring.

I love waking up in the morning—ready to approach a new day with new exciting adventures waiting for me to experience. I look forward to pioneering new territory and bold endeavors. I can’t imagine what life would be like if I didn’t have a purpose or agenda. When God wakes me up, I get to use the creative ability He gave me to create or to format my day. I discovered the reason successful and creative people love staying up at night to work on ideas as much as getting up in the morning to go back at their project.

I remember sitting in the lobby at the office of a friend of mine, who was on the phone at the time while I was waiting for him. At the lobby desk were two women that stood out to me because there appeared to be such a great contrast between their demeanors and body language. The woman who I assumed was the higher paid secretary appeared more friendly and professional than the other woman who was the receptionist. Sometimes, our tendency is to associate performance with pay grade, but not so in this case.

The person that appeared livelier and more professional about her appearance and how she approached doing her job was actually the receptionist. The secretary looked nice, but every movement of hers suggested she didn’t want to be there. She was bland in her response on the phone, she didn’t greet others with a smile, and there was nothing about her that would make people feel comfortable in approaching her. In fact, I saw one man who seemed to wait for her to turn her back so he could ask the receptionist a question. To me, this would imply that her body language was as intrusive and offensive than someone with halitosis.

After the secretary took me into my friend’s office, I asked him a question about her demeanor. He said, “Funny you would ask that question. My partner and I spoke of moving her to another office with less traffic.”

You see, the receptionist exuded personality and vigor because she loved what she was doing. People who are in business or simply a domestic engineer, if you do not love what you’re doing the odds of you succeeding in that field is slim to none. To love or to like is the difference between surviving and striving. Your energy level will always be low when you don’t want to be somewhere or when you don’t like the job you have. For those who enjoy their job, life, or business, there seems to never be enough hours in a day.

People who like what they do, work to live; people who love what they do, live to work. People who do not understand life and how it works are oftentimes envious of those who do. Low energy people think that the person who is full of energy and excitement about what they do is over doing it and that much effort is not necessary. When you find yourself pondering on thoughts like this, usually somewhere in your subconscious, you believe that all financially successful people are greedy. This is the furthest thing from the truth!

If you don’t love what you do by committing your life and energy to it, it’s not worth doing. When you hear of a house flipper buying houses and fixing them up for a person to buy, it’s not just for the money. People like this will go from one project to another because they love the challenge. Their motivation is to see their creative value put into a dilapidated house that will then cause others to want to buy their work. To love what you do has to have a motivation that is beyond money. Successful people have a motivation to help others, to be creative, and they ooze purpose. A person will work harder for their children and legacy than they will for only themselves.

If you can find joy in your work, it will become more than a job; it will be a daily adventure. If you can change your attitude, which is that small thing that matter, you will be promoted from mediocrity to excellence. Success will always be the experience with the person who loves what they do.

The Balance of Success

MB Text 7-12-2015 (Balance Success)Faith is the power link to every seeable impossible desirable endeavor you may encounter. If balance is the key to life, then, faith is the power of life, and patience is the virtue of life. It is quite easy to talk about how one’s life needs balance; but how to achieve it has escaped the majority of people.

Achieving balance can be difficult because it involves knowledge, wisdom, tenacity, and action, and some people may lack adequacy in one or more of these qualities. In your Bible, the book of James says that we must not be hearers of the word only, but also doers of the word. This is where the problem comes into the equation. Most people are good at hearing to a degree, but lousy at doing. Balance, then, is formed out of sound and unbiased advice and guidance from a creditable source, and then immediately made actionable.

Faith is the power of life because it produces the ability to be tenacious. Power is power; it has no alternative to its strength and supremacy. Faith rests in its own pool of authority, and it is the force behind every movement and action. Patience is the virtue of life. It is the quality of character and the strategy to winning. Patience is needed in order to qualify the balance in one’s life, or else everything will be done in life without forethought and purpose.

Since most people are good at hearing instructions but terrible when it comes to follow through, failure is frequently inevitable. Balance is not leveling every quality off to the same degree; it is placing the importance on each quality regardless of its magnitude. When balance is achieved, it looks like the display on an equalizer component. Therefore, perfect harmony is realized because balance has been accomplished. This kind of action results not only in life becoming manageable, but also in success as being practical. There is nothing more attractive to God than a breathing faith.

Your life is at its finest when you become entrenched and completely invested in the effort but unattached from the results. I realized how difficult this can be, but it’s possible. This is the place where you are intimate with your personal power because you realize that the expedition and the exertion are important. There is a place you arrive where you must draw a line in the sand and let go of that something which has to lead you to a new position, or to a certain person loving you, or it has to lead to you making a lot of money. When your desires are discombobulated or targeted towards you feeling better about yourself, you actually become disempowered by making the goal the consummate.

I believe the goal has to do with the process itself. In reality, the end is inherited in the means. Who you are when you put forth the effort is more important than what you want to become at the end of your effort. If you are totally convinced you have nothing left in you after your effort, how can you not be content with the outcome?

Understanding the balance to success is not winning every battle or achieving every goal. It is what knowledge you are to acquire, or what skill you are to develop, or what corrections you are to make from each skirmish or attempt at something, regardless of the outcome, so that you are more prepared for the next endeavor.

Don’t Half Live Your Dream

MB_text_3-13-15I’ve discovered that Success is not a simple matter; it cannot be determined merely by the amount of money and material possessions you have. Things can make you happy temporarily, but they are a poor substitute for inner peace and happiness. To achieve one’s ultimate purpose should be one’s earthly pursuits.

We all want to be happy and successful, especially financially. We work at it. We strive for it. We know it when we have it, and we know when we are not happy. It seems so elusive sometimes. We often seek happiness in all the wrong places. We run to substitutes for happiness that often makes us feel even more unhappy.

A millionaire who is not personally content with his or her life is not truly successful. I do not mean that if you have a billion dollars you cannot be considered a success however, we usually make the mistake of thinking that happiness is related somehow to our financial condition, or we think if our circumstances get better, we will be happy.

Happiness has absolutely nothing to do with circumstances. Two people with identical circumstances can have vastly dissimilar levels of contentment. One is happy and the other is not. You can have a bias for depression or a bias for happiness. When you get up each morning you will make a pre-decision for or against happiness.

Every person who succeeds in life does so by persevering in the face of adversity and by continually applying themselves to their vision. No one comes into this earth with their talents and abilities fully functional, but instead they dedicate years of their lives to developing them. Faith is a necessity for your purpose to come to fruition. Remember, faith doesn’t make things easy, it makes things possible.

When you are fed a steady diet of cynicism and skepticism, it may be hard to speak anything positive. This constant intake of negativity affects your perspective and your communication. The way you see things is what you come to believe about them.

If you are progressive in your thinking, then always enduring and overcoming challenges is the evolution of your unadulterated self. You are more powerful when you know who you are, and you are then more courageous. Once you conquer one mountain, you will know that another one stands in your way. Every time you have a top of the mountain experience, you then find yourself at the bottom of another mountain. Life is full of challenges, and dreams make the journey that much more pleasurable when achieved.

The key to living your dream is meeting limited circumstances with thoughts without limits. It’s not about how little you have; it is about the amazing things you can do with what you do have. Jesus turned 2 fish and five loaves of bread into a full course meal for 5,000 men, and He fed 4,000 with 7 loaves of bread and fish. It’s not about how much you have; it is about God’s ability residing in you to multiply what you have.

Stake claim to your dream and stop haphazardly pursuing something you were created to do. The present moment is the only time there is. No matter what time it is, both the past and future exist when you bring them into your present moment. You can decide to live your life from your past pain or you can live forward. Understand this moment, NOW! Now is the accepted time, not tomorrow. There’s nothing more powerful than a person who knows how to contain and control their personal power and not let it seep out.

Every time the present moment is ignored, there is enormous loss; and every time the present moment is seized there is immense gain. If a person advances with self-confidence in the direction of his or her dreams, and believes they are possible, and endeavors to live the life which he or she has imagined, they will meet with uncommon success at an unforeseen hour.

Think and Speak Out Loud

MBBlog_inside I believe the right talk is the key to produce the right results. But, I also believe the wrong talk is one of the main components that will produce the wrong results in your life. Based on the Good Book, you shall have whatever you say.

One of the greatest formulas you can discover in life is how to renew your mind by transitioning your thoughts from one form to another—thought to material; learning how to shift your mindset to your heart thoughts. There is no condition that is irreversible. All that can be broken is fixable. The reality of your world is not what you experience first, but what you envision first. Thoughts are the core substance that precedes the reality of its creation. Speaking the word is vital, but speaking out of your heart gives the word tangibility.

I have said often that you are a spirit, which has a soul and lives in a body—and this is the proper sequence. Your mouth is a release valve for what is overstuffed in your heart. Therefore, you have no other choice but to speak when the things in you are tipping over your lips. Believing is the start, but what you believe has the potential for life. However, life doesn’t occur until the stuff in your heart comes out of your mouth; good, bad or indifferent. Trying to convince you is not the same as being convinced.

You see, what you believe in your heart about your life, the world you live in, and your environment is evident by what you see around you and experience on a daily basis. The things that adorn your life are the things you have spoken from your heart life, or else those things would not be present.

Boldly speak out your words while targeting your expectations. It is important not to think into the atmosphere, but rather to speak into the atmosphere by discharging your words. No matter how people may struggle with particular situations, people rarely detect their condition as something reparable. An individual can fix a lot of things that are wrong in their life without having the pay a psychiatrist to help them if they will value their own importance. If you don’t believe in you, than who does? If you are negative about manners of your life, you are gushing out of your mouth the words from your heart to express or convey what you want to happen for your environment.

Your fortune begins in you, as you, and with you. Most people do not realize the force that change makes in one’s life by making a decision and speaking that decision out of your heart. Making a decision cannot be like a wish list stating your preferences. I would like to make more money, etc. The reason nothing happens is because instead of speaking a definitive word into the atmosphere, we speak our wishes.

Making a decision means cutting off any other possibility. In fact, ‘decision’ in the Greek understanding is to “cut off.” There are important basic decisions you have to pay attention to because they shape every moment of your life and control your destiny. Most of us make decisions by default, meaning we leave them up to circumstances. Because we delay in making a decision, we wait for circumstances to force us in a direction that we hope would eventually lead to our benefit.

You will pay a major price for not taking control and consciously and definitively making a decision. However, you can take control of these decisions and actually start to form your experiences so that you are living your life on purpose and not by experimentation. When decisions are definitively made, it places you in the flow of the intended choice. When you don’t make a decision, you get caught up in the current events, current circumstances, and current culture.

People are usually quick to accept horoscope writings to lead their daily activities and Christians accept salvation, but they aptly neglect the full council of the Bible. Thus, making them saved to the bone and broke as a bum.

I WILL NEVER ACCEPT A REALITY THAT IS NOT MY OWN!

Overtime, The Not So Perfect Solution.

overtime-blog-postAre you late paying your mortgage or rent? Do you struggle with not having enough money to fill your car with gas to get to work? If all available funds and sources of credit are tapped out, what would be your first inclination to obtain more funds? For heaven’s sake, please do not consider borrowing money from a Pay Day Loan institution. Think for a moment. Don’t move in haste because you will end up with a waste. Take a few moments and think…tick, tick, and tick.

Stop! Why are you considering working overtime, and not taking into consideration the extra time spent working overtime hours which usually zaps the life and motivation out of you? These extra hours can be used to start and run a small business.

Ninety percent of the general public has, as their first inclination, when experiencing more month at the end of their money than money at the end of their month, a default thought pattern to work overtime. I am not suggesting this method of pulling in additional funds is wrong, I’m saying it may not prove to be the wisest. Consider the additional wear and tear on your body from not getting enough rest, or the time wasted while waiting to get paid. If you have to work additional hours, why not work harder for yourself instead of someone else.

I met a gentleman who started selling his delicious concoction of flavored popcorn to friends and people in his community. He started selling it because he needed additional funds to pay bills. One day he started experimenting more with different flavors and people loved them. His cost for buying, popping, and bagging the popcorn was low, so he didn’t have to worry about taking monies from the household budget.

His hobby of making his favorite flavored popcorn turned into a business. He eventually rented a small space in a strip mall and opened his popcorn business. To say the least, I was quite surprised to see the number of people who came in to patronize his store while I was buying popcorn. Here’s a man who found a way to work smarter not harder.

What are you waiting for? Is not the need for more money, all the motivation you need? Sit back, think and pray. An answer will come to you, but it’s hard to hear while you are so busy working yourself to death. Look for my new book soon, “TURN ON YOUR LIFE.”

The Worst Thing I Ever Did With The Best Advice I Ever Received

worst200Attention, Attention! Listen up, don’t be an idiot like I was—listen to my advice. I know how many of you can talk about all the stupid things you’ve done in your lifetime, but can it be more stupid than missing out on millions of dollars? I have since moved on, but that one bit of information helped me to never pass on another good opportunity.

When I was in the Army, one of my duty stations was at FT. BLISS, TEXAS located in El Paso, from 1976 to 1978. At that time, the population of El Paso was over 360,000 and just as dry as it is today. I had no plans to live in El Paso because of its size and the lack of entertainment and other activities for children. Being from Chicago, I was used to a large population with a host of activities to keep anyone busy over the weekend. To say the least, staying in El Paso was not on my list of things to do after my enlistment was up.

The Intrinsic Quality of the Successful

iqs-200-postIf you are waiting for someone to substantiate that you are a success, you are waiting for the wrong information. If you are looking around to see the symbols of your success to validate whether or not you are a success, you are looking at the wrong things.

Internal success far outweighs external success. Knowing who you are and living a life of fulfillment is far more valuable than all the money in the world. In fact, having a powerful sense of self-awareness, and an intuitive knowledge of who you truly are without the need of outside influences to help you secure your mental sense of self-worth, is a priceless commodity.

I am not saying wealth and material things are not important, because that would not be true. On the contrary, money and material things are an absolute necessity if one is going to survive in this world. Riches may not bring permanent happiness, but neither will poverty. I have seen wealthy people miserable and unhappy, though they possess all the money and material things a person can dream of having. I have also seen people living with just the bare basic necessities of life, and they are just as miserable and unhappy as the person with everything.

Therefore, money and material things are not the true symbols of success. The Good Book says that a person who cannot rule their own soul is like a city without walls. This means that the person’s life and all they may have built throughout their lifetime is completely vulnerable and open to assaults. These people usually end up losing everything because they most likely have stepped on (not over) many friends and associates just to get what they thought would validate them in the eyes of people. A person succeeding in making money is not an indicator that the person has succeeded with controlling their insatiable appetites of lasciviousness.

Your self-image is a product of your experiences, failures, triumphs, humiliations, and breakthroughs. Through these experiences, you create a picture of yourself and most importantly, you believe that it is a true depiction of who you are. Because you believe your self-image is accurate, you base your actions on it. If your actions lead to failure or success, your self-image is then is responsible. There is a reason why willpower does not work, and why it is like a snap-back effect. Your “will” is powered by something other than you simply making a decision to do something. Your mind controls your body, but your will controls your mind.

When people use willpower, what they are actually doing is going to battle against their self-image. However, the self-image is always stronger because it is their subconscious belief. To further explain my point, I want you to view yourself as a rubber band. When you stretch the rubber band, it is similar to your willpower. If you think you can go around for a full day as a fully stretched out rubber band, you are sadly mistaken. At some point during the course of the day, something will distract you—and you will let up on the pressure. When that happens, the rubber band snaps back to its true shape. This is what happens when you use your will power to mentally change what you think about yourself without you changing your intrinsic core belief of who you are. Woody Allen said, “My only regret is that I’m not someone else.”

What a sad way of thinking about yourself. You can make all the money your little heart desires, but you better know why you are trying to make money, because money itself will not be the remedy to your lack of fulfillment. This is one of the reasons why so many people experience the yo-yo effect. The will is designed to do what it does, but it does not make you who you are. If you learn to re-engineer your self-image based on a God-consciousness, you will permanently expand it, and there will be no more snap-back effect.

A neighbor was befriending a child in the neighborhood.
“I understand that you have twins in your home. Are you one of them?”
The boy slowly put his head down and said, “No sir! I’m just a spare.”

Once you learn how to activate and release God’s power in every situation, you will find yourself moving beyond obstacles that previously frustrated you. You will actually develop an unstoppable God (self)-confidence and a heightened excitement about your future. Like most people, your will is to be successful, but it does not mean because your will is for success, that you will obtain it. You have to go further than just to will it; you have to believe it so that no approval would be necessary to make your life work. There is no doubt in my mind that if you are a success; the only thing I must do is to believe that you are.

Now, let me re-address the subject of money. It’s right to make money and even ethically there is nothing wrong with making a lot of money. Money may not grow on trees, but it does grow from talent and knowledge. Concentration, Creativity, and Negotiation are three important elements of having a successful business. The ability to take an idea, analyze business opportunities, and evaluate business options is a major attribute use. When your heart is balanced, it takes a conscientious effort to ensure that your mind coincides with your heart.

Come let’s talk some more about this, commet your thoughts below.

Uncompromising Dedication

dedication-postWhat is your level of dedication? Is dedication necessary for success? If so, how dedicated should one be if they are going to succeed? Can a person succeed with half-hearted dedication? The answer is yes, if the task before them requires little or no dedication. However, if the challenge is daunting and extremely difficult, which in most cases are the battles worth fighting; it will take everything in a person to succeed.

Dedication can never be categorized as a neutral void in the middle. You are either dedicated or you’re not; there is no in-between. Dedication is vital for success in anything you do, but especially in whatever your ultimate life pursuit may be.

Dedication is determined by the hours upon hours spent honing in on your craft. A professional athlete understands that the game they play is so competitive, and the margin for error is so slim, that if they are not dedicated to improving themselves to perform at the highest level of their game; they will not last long playing their particular sport. As great as talent is, it is not always enough to succeed. Another person’s natural talent may be greater than yours, but their heart and dedication may be diminutive.

I would love to tell you there are shortcuts to succeeding in life, business, or whatever sport you may be presently engaged in, but the truth of the matter is there are none. If success is what you genuinely want in life, it must, [not should], be pursued with a phenomenal amount of fortitude and dedication. Don’t misunderstand me, winning isn’t everything, but it is the most desired outcome for a goal oriented person, or any competitive athlete who is actually driven to succeed in life or business.

Dedication involves courage which is the gap between knowing the right thing and doing it. You really don’t choose courage and dedication; it chooses you because of your undying devotion to succeed in whatever the mandate laid upon you. It is an empowering decision to stand and fight rather than run; to persevere rather than quit. Dedication is refusing to overlook a difficult challenge standing in your path to prevent you from reaching your goal and choosing to move forward rather than remain stagnate.

What is dedication? It is a very strong mental and emotional support for, or loyalty to someone or something or a cause. It is not a desire to conquer or rule another person; instead, it is a deep intrinsic desire to conquer oneself and defeat one’s own fears. I believe and have often said people are generally one quality decision away from accomplishing any goal, achieving any personal desire or obtaining anything they want in life.

Dedication is not only an undying devotion to a particular cause or purpose, but a commitment to thrive and live out ones determination despite the cost. It is not the process of deciding to try or pursue something until it becomes difficult. The person of a dedicated quality mindset, who lives by their personal convictions, is no longer flexible concerning their life assignment; however, they may be flexible concerning their methods. Without preparation and attention to detail, one’s actions will not amount to courage. It takes courage and dedication to push through the difficulties of life and to maintain a positive mental attitude. Some people may not understand your relentless drive to do what you do on a daily basis, but they will appreciate it.

John is the kind of guy you love to hate, though not in a bad way. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, “If I were any better, I would be twins!” He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, John was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation.

Seeing his style really made me curious, so one day I went up to John and asked him, “I don’t get it. You can’t be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?” John replied, “Each morning I wake up and say to myself, ‘You have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood.’ I choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life.”

“Yeah, right, it’s not that easy,” I protested.

“Yes, it is,” John said. “Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It’s your choice how you live your life.”

I reflected on what John said. Soon after, I left the Soar Industry to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often thought about him when I decided to choose life instead of reacting to it.

Several years later, I heard that John was involved in a serious accident, falling some 60 feet from a communications tower. After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, John was released from the hospital with rods placed in his back. I saw John about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied. “If I were any better, I’d be twins. Would you like to see my scars?”

I declined to see his wounds, but I did ask him what had gone through his mind as the accident took place. “The first thing that went through my mind was the well-being of my soon to be born daughter, “John replied.” Then, as I lay on the ground, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live or I could choose to die. I chose to live.”

“Weren’t you scared? Did you lose consciousness?” I asked.

John continued, “The paramedics were great. They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the ER and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read ‘He’s a dead man.’ I knew I needed to take action.”

“What did you do?” I asked.

“Well, there was a big burly nurse shouting questions at me,” said John. “She asked if I was allergic to anything.” ‘Yes’, I replied. The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep breath and yelled, ‘Gravity.’ Over their laughter, I told them, ‘I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead’.” John lived, thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of the amazing attitude that he embodied as a result of his dedication to being a positive person. I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully, however, dedication is required.

Are You Holding Your Money Hostage?

money-hostage-email200Riches may not bring happiness, but neither will poverty. When it comes to making money, you must use money itself. To bet on a horse is gambling; to bet you can come up with three spades is entertainment, to bet on cotton going up three points is business. You see the difference?

Most people have it all wrong about wealth in America. Wealth is not the same as income. Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend. The Good Book teaches us not to trust in money, but it does teach us to place it in trust. Money that is not moving is not money at all. Money is a seed to use in order to accumulate, but it cannot increase without movement. Nothing good can come from you holding your money hostage.

There is a lesson in the seed of a man. When a man emits semen into a woman, millions of sperms are discharged, but only one has the assignment of the production of life. You may still have that one thing you won’t release and it may be the very seed to increase your capacity.

People who are looking for the next financial miracle are those who have not planned or made provisions for their future. These people are literally playing Russian roulette with their lives. Are you?

The point I’m making, is finances and creating finances, is not a game. Through nutritional research, we’ve learned the body reflects the diet fed to the body. Physical stamina, resistance to disease, body size, even how long we live, is all closely related to what we eat. The body is what the body is fed. By the same token, the mind is what the mind is fed. Mind food is the countless things which influence our conscious and subconscious thoughts. The mental foods we consume determine our habits, attitudes, and personality. The mind reflects what its environment feeds it, just as surely as the body reflects the food you feed it. So, your belief about money may be the reason you don’t have enough of it.

Have you ever thought what kind of person you would be had you been reared in some foreign country instead of the United States?, What foods would you prefer?, Would your preference for clothing be the same?, What would be your religion?, What sort of entertainment would you like the most?

Environment shapes us and causes us think the way we do. Try to name just one habit or one mannerism you have, which you did not pick up from other people. The way we walk, cough, hold a cup; our preferences for music, literature, entertainment, and clothing—all stem in very large part from environment.

More importantly, what you believe about money, the size of your thinking, your goals, your attitude, and your very personality, is formed by your environment. If most of the people you spend your time with are financially broke, and they have no ambition to change their financial status, the likelihood of you living with that same mindset is at least ninety percent. If you hang around three broke people, you are sure to be the fourth.

There once lived a very wealthy man who was famed for his great wealth and his liberality. There were certain friends of his younger days who came to him and said: “You are more fortunate than we. You have become very rich while we struggle for existence.

You can wear the finest garments and you can enjoy the rarest foods, while we must be content if we can clothe our families in raiment that is presentable and feed them as best we can.

Yet, once we were equal. We studied under the same master. We played in the same games. And in neither the studies nor the games did you outshine us.

And in the years since, you have been no more an honorable citizen than we have. Nor have you worked harder or more faithfully, insofar as we can judge. Why, then, should a fickle fate, single you out to enjoy all the good things of life and ignore us who are equally deserving?”

The wealthy man said to them, “If you have not acquired more than a bare existence in the years since we were youths, it is because you either have failed to learn the laws that govern the building of wealth, or you do not observe them.”

There are no excuses for staying in the same predicament. Start your process of change by changing your attitude about money. Just like you learned about everything else you presently know, if you will just make a choice about money and how it grows; your financial situation can change in an instant.

Remember, all you may know is not all there is to learn. Learn to respect money and you will attract it.
